  • The mission of Saint Luke Parish Christian Education is to create a welcoming, faith-filled religious education experience.
We strive to nurture and enhance the faith and Catholic traditions begun and fostered within each family.
The program, open to parishioners of all ages, focuses on formal instruction in the teachings of Jesus Christ, providing guidance and inspiration for a life-long commitment to God’s will. Our religious education program is given life and continues to grow through the talent, energy and commitment of the entire parish community. We lead by examples of worship, sacramental, preparation, outreach and human concerns.

We are delighted to have you as a part of our Parish Family and we look forward to sharing in your child's faith journey.

God Bless You and All You Do!

3rd Sunday of Advent ~ Hope, Peace, and Joy
This time of year brings back so many wonderful memories for me. I remember helping my mother set up the Advent wreath and the nativity scene. Each night in Advent my sisters, brothers, and I would take turns lighting a candle on the Advent wreath; one for each of the four weeks before Christmas. I always looked forward to lighting the rose-colored candle because it marked the halfway point of Advent.
Our waiting would soon be over for the joy of Christmas Day!

If any moment finds us waiting in joyful hope it is now.
My grandfather once told me that the most optimistic person in the world is a gardener; someone who plants and has faith that it will grow. Planting requires planning and preparation. In these last weeks of Advent, we are planning and planting.
We are making our hearts ready. We are letting joy and wonder take root and grow.

I think this is the story of Advent especially now. It offers us a promise to be fulfilled. Today we are invited to rejoice; to have a joy the world can’t take away. Not the superficial joy that’s only a click away but a deeper joy and certainty that Jesus is coming in His Second Advent. This joy needs a lot of patience. This joy needs a lot of preparation. Advent is far more than marking a 2,000 – year – old event in history. It is celebrating the revelation of God in Jesus so that all creation may be reconciled to Him

May God fill you with His joy and peace today and may your tomorrows be filled with His promise of what is to be.
